What it is
Collaborative color-n-erase - each child colors a section of the parade Doodle. The arts-instruction workhorse (Arts: Creating).

- A Doodle
- dry-erase crayons
- an eraser cloth
Steps
- Step 1 of 3
Everyone gets a section
The core act: collaborative color-n-erase. Each child colors one section of the Doodle.
- Step 2 of 3
Color it together
The Doodle fills as the class does — everyone's section, one character.
- Step 3 of 3
Erase and go again
The cloth resets it. Same Doodle, endless versions.
Tips
- K-1: color a square or section.
- Grades 2-3: follow a color key.
- Grades 4-5: plan the whole composition.
