Money and buying
What does it cost?
Many parades cost the school nothing: a local sponsor covers it, and we help you find one. Prefer to fund it yourselves? PTA, book fair, Title I, and purchase orders all work. Ask us for the quote that fits your building.
Who usually pays?
A mix: sponsors, PTAs, Title funds, and the school itself. Change your mind anytime between sponsor-find and self-pay.
Do you take purchase orders?
Yes. Processed through TeacherGeek, the parent company. We help you create the PO document and send the W-9. Details are on Ordering.
Workload
Does it run itself?
It pretty much runs itself. One person can run the whole parade. Everyone else just gets to enjoy it. Turnkey for whoever says yes. Optional for everyone else.
What if a class wants out for a day?
The Doodle was napping. Nothing breaks.
Is there glitter?
No.
Care and safety
Are crayons safe?
DoodleFace crayons wash off surfaces far more easily than regular crayons. Full ASTM, choking, and ingredient details live on Ordering and product pages.
Does this replace our SEL curriculum?
No: it amplifies Second Step, PATHS, Character Strong, and maps to PBIS Tier 1.
Fit
Has a school, library, or center like ours done this?
Yes. Parades run in schools and libraries, and the photos across this site come from those buildings. Tell us your setting and we will walk you through how a building like yours ran it.
