What it is
Give the Doodle words; write notes as/to the Doodle exchanged between classes - the writing and oral-language lane.

What you need
- Doodles in two classrooms (or one)
- Speech Bubble Boards or paper bubbles
- crayons
Steps
Write as — or to — the Doodle
Notes, postcards, and letters in the Doodle's voice or addressed to it.
Send it
Messages travel between classrooms (or across the room); the Doodle wears its latest message in a speech bubble.
Write back
The exchange continues: replies, new bubbles, an ongoing correspondence.
Tips
- K-1: drawn messages and postcards.
- Grades 2-3: short friendly notes.
- Grades 4-5: letters with proper format — an ongoing correspondence.
